Blue Smoothie Bowls

Blue spirulina has become an unintimidating addition to my weekly anti-inflammatory habits, hence my sharing so many recipes that use it. Plus—it’s just so pretty!

Adding blue spirulina into smoothies is a super easy way to work the mighty blue powder into your day. I do this quite often, but when I have the time, I like to switch things up a bit, pour that smoothie into a bowl and top it with lots of yum yums. It makes the most beautiful color which is even more stunning when topped with fresh fruit.

Makes 1 large or 2 small smoothie bowls

  • 3/4 cups non-dairy milk

  • 1/2 cup fresh baby spinach, loosely packed
